Rating and Experience

Player ratings are recalculated after the completion of every rated match — that is, matches played between club members.

The player’s experience value (elo-experience, exp.) is included in the calculation. This value accumulates continuously and increases according to the length of each rated match played. For example, if two club members play a 7-point match, then after the match ends, both players will have their exp. increased by 7.

When a player first becomes a member, their initial rating is 1500.00 and exp=0.

Player ratings are calculated using the FIBS (First Internet Backgammon Server) formula.
